NFT-marketplace Open Sea has added support for Solana blockchain in beta mode. A limited number of collections will be published in the marketplace for now. The first published collections were to be Nyan Heroes and Turtles.

Right now OpenSea has 865,000 tokens from 165 NFT collections. This is an article from project cryptodefix.com. These include Solana Monkey Business, DeGods, Degenerate Ape Academy, Auory, and Shadowy Super Coder. The marketplace page says Solana’s low fees and high transaction rate have lowered the threshold for accessing NFTs.

Unlike competitors Magic Eden and FTX NFT, OpenSea allows you to store tokens in your own wallet. Solana is the fourth one added to the marketplace, besides it there are NFTs on Ethereum, Polygon and Klaytn.
